Jonathan Okman, MD, FAAD

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Jonathan Okman brings a distinctive blend of analytical expertise and medical excellence to dermatology. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University, followed by an MBA in Finance and Economics from the prestigious University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Before pursuing his calling in medicine, Dr. Okman worked as a trader and software developer in the financial markets, developing the problem-solving and strategic thinking skills that now inform his patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. Okman is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Okman earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the nation’s top medical institutions. He completed his internship at Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia before training in dermatology during his residency at UC Davis. Following residency, he practiced at Solano Dermatology in Fairfield and Vallejo for four years, building a reputation for comprehensive, thoughtful care before joining Dermatology Associates.

A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Okman regularly lectures to UC Davis dermatology residents, teaching not only diagnostic skills but also the importance of patient-driven, comprehensive treatment planning. He is passionate about integrating medical, surgical, and aesthetic methods to create customized treatment approaches tailored to each patient’s unique goals and lifestyle.
