At Dermatology Associates, we are highly skilled at removing skin cancers and unwanted benign growths. We employ a number of surgical techniques so the respective lesion can be removed as definitively and cosmetically as possible. Our surgical procedures include the following:

• Mohs micrographic surgery for basal cell and squamous cell skin cancer

• Surgical excision for both benign and malignant lesions

• Electrodessication and curettage (ED&C) of superficial skin cancers

• Shave excision of benign moles or nevi

• Earlobe repair for torn earlobes or stretched earlobes from gauge earrings

• Scar revision

• Skin tag removal

Post-op, we employ a number of modalities as needed to optimize healing. We use CO2 laser resurfacing, Silagen silicone gel pads and medicinal creams.
