Cosmetic Dermatology

We recognize that father-time and the sun can slowly age us and make us look less fresh and radiant than we would like.

As experienced board-certified dermatologists, we have many years of training in medical school, internship and residency to master our knowledge and understanding of skin.

Over the years, we have worked with many different dermal fillers, devices, neurotoxins and lasers and know their individual properties and where they perform best.

We blend this knowledge and experience to help you choose the most appropriate and up-to-date cosmetic treatments available that will be uniquely well-suited for your skin and facial anatomy.

Botox has become a household term for good reason. It works. We use it and related products like Dysport and Xeomin to soften wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. Additionally, we use Botox to treat areas of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) in the armpits & forehead

With time our wrinkles can deepen and our face can develop unwanted loss of soft-tissue and boney support. And this is where fillers are so helpful. Like Botox, they have become increasingly popular over the years because both the art of placement and the material science has evolved. When we first started injecting fillers over 20 years ago, all we had at our disposal was bovine collagen. We now carry many different types of fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse) and we can artfully place them in wrinkles and the specific areas of the face that need enhancement

Kybella is an injectable that works to reduce the appearance of a double-chin. It is injected below the chin and into the front of the neck to break down the fat cells in these areas. Initially there will be some swelling and tenderness but over subsequent weeks, you facial profile will be sharper and more tailored.

Microneedling can be done with or without PRP (platelet rich plasma). Microneedling alone is very good at smoothing out facial acne scars. Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin that in turn stimulates collagen synthesis and the lay down of new healthy skin. We use the Bellus SkinPen, which currently is the only FDA approved microneedling device in the U.S.

PRP FACIAL OR “VAMPIRE FACIAL”

When Microneedling on the face is combined with PRP growth factors it stimulates even greater collagen production and helps your skin tone look smoother and healthier.
